I can't give you credit dude

Today I took a trip to a client of my mothers house. I sat down to a nice meal of rice & beans, cornbread, potato salad, and an ice cold Coca-Cola. I picked up the first newspaper I saw, ( I tend to not read those things due to instantaneous sadness) and read, "Credit goes to Obama." Well, I'm not giving credit to anyone, much less him. Sorry. Any intellectual being knows that someone that stepped into the role of future President of the United States a matter of days ago has not performed some kind of magic to be given "credit" for anything so quickly. When, and if, the man decides to act on the issues that matter in America, and shows improvement in these said issues, then I will give him credit.

After downing a few bites of my delectable meal, reading about some terrible hazing at Southern, I picked up newspaper number 2. What did I read you might ask? "Obama makes things happen." Now, I'm no rocket scientist or even close for that matter, but I'd like to think passing nursing school proves I am of some intelligence. That being said, I can't conclude how the 44th President, Obama, has "made things happen," unless he is a wizard of some sort. If he is indeed some kind of wizard with magical powers, all I ask is that he makes things happen, but make them the right things, and for that, all credit will then be due him.

Happy Birthday!!

And on a bright note, Kaytlynn's birthday is Tuesday! She will be five years old. I have NO idea what I wanted for my birthday when I was five. Probably something like some bugs or replacement batteries for my Glo-Worm. I don't even remember...

She has to have everything "pink". This is obviously a girl thing. Little boys don't have to have everything "blue". What's up with that? I know I never begged for a blue shower curtin, blue backpack, or Leonardo the Ninja Turtle. (Okay maybe I did the last one) So, because I know she can't read this, I'm going to tell what she's getting:

- A pink camera that cannot be destroyed and can be submerged
- Elmo Live (if she's good and they dont rise in price on eBay before then, cause this was originally intended as an investment)
- Candy
- a new mattress that is Urine Resistant
- Unlimited amount of Bugs Bunny shows (credit goes to uTorrent)
- Trip to the Jacksonville Zoo (credit goes to Florida taxpayers, I think)

Alrighty then. I am off to snooze, as I have yet another long day of work tomorrow. Stay classy.

Excuse me while I throw up

I find humor in peoples immaturity. I also tend to find humor in hypocrites that point the finger calling other people hypocrites. I'm not sure what age I stopped talking people down, but I think it was in high school at some point. So, if you are of high school age or less, you are excused from this blog. If not, listen oh so closely. Grow Up. Point blank. There is only one person that has the right to judge me or anyone else in this world. Those of you that like to point fingers at people and talk about them "anonymously," you're only wronging yourselves. Thank you for putting some laughter in my life. And most of all thank you for reminding me that this world is full of people who like to call themselves something, but don't have the discipline nor maturity to be that... and I'm talking about a CHRISTIAN. I dare any human to try and argue with me about what a Christian is while acting in such a way. Thanks. Peace Out.

Where did the Chrstians go?

Psalm 73 says, "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

I hate to be so angry, but it's hard not to be. Our Country was built on Christian beliefs, yes, CHRISTIAN beliefs. How can our Country now choose to elect a man that (may be) Muslim. I am not against other religions nor Countries, but I feel that this man does not love our Country, How could he?

I can't say that I love Mccain either, but he's the better of the two wrongs. Atleast I can say there is proof that he loves his Country.

I can't fathom how so called Christians were able to vote for this man and love their Heavenly Father at the same time. What a crock! All I have to say is, Look out America, we're about to experience some bad times, and that's biblical.

Oh so blue...

You know when you buy that awesome stuff at the store that turns your toilet water blue? I love that stuff, who doesn't?! It's different than what you're used to. No one likes the same ole "normal" water. Things are so much better when they are blue.

Speaking of which, now that our Nation Hath Spoken and we've (meaning everyone that sucks) decided on a new President, our country is now going to be awash with the politics of the Blue Party/Democrats. Now that we have the 'change' we 'need' I'm not real excited about it. We will be flushed down the toilet with the new politics and policies. Oh joy.

Don't get me wrong I wasn't excited about McCain either. Let's not forget that the only reason he was the Republican candidate is because Huckabee wouldn't drop out when he should have so he and Romney split the true conservative vote and allowed McCain to get the nomination. I'm not getting TOO down about this because I know that the heart of America is still conservative and the values are still there, we just didn't have anyone to back whole heartedly.

Please don't believe the hype that Obama won by some outstanding margin and the turnout for him was incredible. Sure he beat McCain by quite a bit, but hear me on this. Bush got a total of 62,040,000 votes when he was elected and Obama got 62,686,389. He's no more loved and adored by America than Bush was. Plus, Obama had the media on his side and $650 million dollars to campaign with. We may be stuck with him for four years, but we should keep our values and what we know is right and ensure that this doesn't happen again.
